An optional sponge pre-filter can catch debris before it reaches small fountain nozzles; the sponge is not included.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eUse the pump submerged, or externally below the source water level with a continuously flooded inlet. It cannot draw water up into an empty inlet pipe.
