PVC Pressure Tapping Saddle
PVC Pressure Tapping Saddles fit around PVC pressure pipe and provide a female BSP thread. The tapping saddle is installed by holding each half around the pipe, bolting the two halves together, and lastly drilling the pipe to allow water through the fitting. A rubber ring provides the seal between pipe and tapping saddle. Different sizes of tapping saddle have different numbers of bolts (two bolt, four bolt, or six bolt). Most commonly used in cold water irrigation applications.
